1. DORMA ED 250 SWING DOOR OPERATOR

Swing door operator in modular design for doors with a maximum width of 1600 mm and a weight of up to 250 kg

With the ED 250 swing door operator DORMA offers an electromechanical swing door operator for various fields of application. The operator may be installed as a push version with standard arm assembly and as a pull version with slide channel.

Variable functional range

Apart from the extended cover, DORMA also provides an easy-to-install integrated door coordinator for double-leaf doors. With the aid of the DORMA Upgrade Card, the system’s functional range may be adapted to various door versions. The large scope of integrated functions further ensures that the majority of possible applications can be readily accommodated.

Door Closer mode & Automatic mode

Users may choose between two operating modes: Door Closer and Automatic mode. While set to the Door Closer mode, the ED 250 swing door operator is optimized for manual operation. With its optional Power Assist function, the Door Closer mode is tailored to predominantly manually operated doors where a door closer function is desired. The Automatic mode in turn is especially suitable for mainly automatic access with motion detector or pushbutton actuation.

Wind load control

The ED 250 swing door operator is especially suitable for exterior doors that are subjected to varying wind loads and for interior doors separating rooms where different air pressures prevail. While the system is in Automatic mode, the wind load control monitors the actuation speed, keepting it constant at the preset value.

Power Assist function

The ED 250 swing door operator’s Power Assist function may be activated while the door is in Door Closer mode. As soon as a user opens the door by a couple of degrees, the servo function cuts in to support the manual opening cycle, automatically adjusting to the preset closing force as effort is applied.

Concealed Automatic In-ground Floor Closer

The DORMA ED400-IG in-ground floor closer enables your application to meet access requirements and still maintain the desired architectural design, such as an arched door or an all-glass façade. This revolutionary new operator conceals the automatic components in the floor near the door threshold.

Low energy or full power mode

The ED400-IG functions in either low energy or full power mode, and can be used in both new construction and retro-fit applications. DORMA partnered with Opcon Manufacturing Systems to construct a closer that directs the energy generated by the ED400 drive unit to the pivot in a rotating motion, thus allowing consistent, smooth operation.

Completely weather proof

The install box that stores the operator is completely weather proof and is only 7" deep.

All ED400 operator functions, such as Push & Go, Power Close, and Lock Interface, are fully available in this application, which DORMA is nonetheless able to offer at a value-conscious price.
